MODESTY

"I wonder, Mother, why must we,"
Asked a girl of four plus three,
"Always drerss with modesty?"
"Because," said Mother patiently,
"The Lord commanded it, you see."

First Timothy 2:9 says, "In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array,"
